Does the Opal tanning ledge work beside an Indianapolis pool?

The Opal is a compact fiberglass tanning ledge measuring 10 feet 5 inches by 7 feet 10 inches with a uniform 1-foot depth. One side is curved and the other is straight, giving the shell two different edges that can be coordinated with the pool, deck, and primary viewing direction. The ledge can provide a separate shallow-water place for sitting, cooling off, or using appropriately selected in-water furniture.

A spillover option can move water from the ledge toward the adjacent pool and add the sound and movement of a small water feature. The final effect depends on shell elevation, plumbing, flow, and the relationship between the two bodies of water. Although the Opal is shallow, one foot of water is not a safety guarantee; children and non-swimmers still require active supervision and the complete project needs appropriate barriers and water-safety planning.
